In the end, it was found to be hoax. St.Pauls School and R.N.Shetty polytechnic in the week received similar calls with almost the same nature of wordings and ascent.
The number of such calls has grown during the last one year.
Bomb Scare near KLE

Even as the police and the people heaved a sigh of relief, a suitcase was found abandoned on a roadside near Third Railway gate on Belgaum-Goa Road later in the afternoon. The bomb squad rushed to the spot, carried out inspection, and ruled that it was not a bomb. The Tilakwadi Police has seized the suitcase.

Air Deccan stops Belgaum Mumbai Flights:Mumbai Hubli Also stopped

Air Deccan has stopped its Belgaum - Mumbai & Mumbai- Hubli flights since the past month. I have contacted the authorities to know the exact reason of this closure of this route but I have not received a reply yet. Unofficially sources said that the route has been cancelled due to lack of traffic.
There was only one flight by which we were connected to Mumbai now that is also not there. For Hubli there is Kingfisher airlines which flies to Mumbai and hence might be the Hubli Mumbai Deccan flight might have been cancelled. But what about Belgaum, nor do we have Kingfisher no Deccan now. If we have to go by air to Mumabi we will have to go to Hubl or Kolhapur and take a flight.
Why does this happen only to Belgaum?

Another Boam Hoax: St.Marys This time

Students of St. Mary’s School were made to sit in a safe place following an anonymous call that a bomb had been planted on the school premises in Belgaum on Monday.
Tension prevailed at St. Mary’s School here on Monday after it received an anonymous telephone call that a bomb had been planted on its premises.
However, the call turned out to be hoax. Fourth call
It was the fourth such call received in the city in the past five months.
Such calls were received by the KLE Hospital in the city on September 8 and the District Court on December 15 and the G.G. Chitnis High School on January 14.Prayers
The school received the call around 9.20 a.m. when 2,400 students and staff had assembled for prayers.
The call was received by attender Kallappa Nandagade, who informed the matter to the principal. Subsequently, the school authorities alerted the City Police Control Room and the Camp Police Station.Police action
Police Inspector S.M. Nagaraj rushed to the school with a bomb disposal squad and launched a search operation.
School staff and students were sent to the playground. Meanwhile, some parents, who rushed to the school, on learning the news, heaved a sigh of relief when they were told that the call was hoax.
Mr. Nagaraj said that the bomb disposal squad personnel found no explosive material on the premises of the school.
Mr. Nandagade said that the caller spoke in Hindi.
The Inspector General of Police (Northern Range), Raghavendra Auradkar, said that a thorough investigation was on by a team to trace the culprit.
Bomb Hoax grips Belgaum Court complex

This picture taken form the Tarun Bharat, shows how the public was kept aside while the search operation was on.A phone call was made @ 10.40am to the SP saying that a bomb has been placed in the court and that it will explode at 11am. The phone was made from city police lines area and the phone no was.6990124.The bomb disposal squad and sniffer dogs rushed to the spot and started the combing operation after searching the area thoroughly at last the call was treated as Hoax.
The call was made from a local PCO coin box.
This is the 2nd incident of Bomb hoax, the last one being 4 months back in KLE hospital.
