Name this place in the photograph? This photo is of year 2000, now there have been drastic changes at the spot. Clue: Very important historically The Congress well commonly called as but its actual name was Pampa Sarovar built during the 1924 Congress session to fulfill the water requirement of the whole session for a cost of Rs.4370 & 3 anas. The said Congress well was rebuilt as you see in the above picture and later it was developed as Veer Soudha now. Photos: Sujay Nimbalkar
VHP supports Varun’s statements

VHP international general secretary Praveen Togadia said that every Hindu in the country must speak like Varun to safeguard the interests of Hindutva. However, Togadia did not defend Varun Gandhi who denied his own remarks later due to criticism.
VHP will not support any political party in the upcoming elections; they will support those who will support Hindutva.
On the saffron flag issue, Togadia said that it’s a symbol of Hindutva and that a Saffron flag must be hoisted atop all buildings.
Praveen Togadia was here to address a meeting at the Sambhaji Udyan.

The INDIAN NATIONAL CONGRESS held its thirty-ninth session at Belgaum on the 26th & 27th Dec. 1924.
Gandhiji was the president of the Congress only on one occasion and the session was held in Belgaum.
