Gogte circle to get a facelift
The Cantonment board has decided to give a facelift to the Gogte Circle (near Railway station). Bank of India has agreed to pay Rs.3.5 lakhs for the same and hence the board approved the renovation of the circle.
An island will be made and other amenities will be provided.
See tax payers’ money going waste

The 3 pipes are lying in a corner of the Gogte Circle, towards the left while coming from the Railway Station.
They are lying there unutilized for over 2 to 3 months now. These huge pipes if not utilized will do just nothing except put the taxpayers money into the drain.
If these pipes were brought and then realized that they are not to be used here they should have been removed from there and utilized elsewhere. But this is Government work. : Kon Puchega? Who will ask and to whom?

New Sign Board: Where is this Kotekere

This is a new board put up by the Karnataka Tourism board at the Gogte Cirlce (Railway Station Circle). It is on the Left hand corner of the Congress Road at the circle. So people coming from Military Mahadev from Congress Road can see it tough the placement is not so visible due the electricity pole.
The biggest Question to me where is this Kotekere, 3 km from there. The graphical sign is of a Beach, with coconut tress and thatch huts.
Please I need to know where is this place 3 kms from Gogte Circle. (now you might say, this guy is blogging about Belgaum and why is he asking us, But I don’t know so only I am asking)
Just got know that "Kere" in Kannada means Lake and Kote means "Fort", so is that Lake near the Fort? Must be.
