Road widening work at RPD corn
er (RPD corner to Patwardhan layout) had begun a few months back. Today evening the shops at the RPD corner, were earthed under heavy police protection. Even now the work is on and the occupants are trying to grab up what ever they can from the remains.
Shops gone in this widening are hotel Chit chat, Out West, a Kirana store and on the other side a Shoe store, stationery store, garage, and a Panwala and sweet merchant.
All Corporation officials were seen at the spot. all roads to RPD corner were blocked for vehicular traffic.
