Offensive part omitted from 3 Idiots

There was concern raised by the Hindu Jnajagruti Samiti (HJS) with respect to denigration of Lord Hanuman in the recently released film 3 Idiots enacted by actor Amir Khan. The members of Hindu Janjagruti Samiti (HJS) explained the matter to managers of 3 theatres and they agreed to omit the objectionable portion in the film.

In a song picturised in the above film, Amir Khan has been shown in the attire of Lord Hanuman. ‘Chitra’, ‘Nucleus Mall (Big Cinema’) and ‘Nartaki’ managers were told about the same. They met the managers of the said theatres and explained to them about denigration of Deity taking place in the film.
