ITBelgaum premier conglomerate of the IT-BPO companies in Belgaum will launch themselves by holding a technical workshop and seminar in GIT.
ITBelgaum was mainly formed for interaction between all IT and ITeS companies and the result have been overwhelming. Many companies have now partnered with each other for hosting, web designing, server maintenance etc. which they were not aware of till this conglomerate was formed.

although embedded systems is not a buzz word anymore, little is known about software timing and code optimization for such systems. This presentation will enlighten the audience on software timing issues and code optimization techniques pertaining to embedded systems.

IT-BELGAUM was set up in July 2009, at Belgaum to facilitate business and trade in software and services and to encourage advancement of research in software technology. It is a not-for-profit organization.

Belgaum IT group aims high
This Site had taken an initiative to get all the IT and 
IT related companies to come under a forum so that they could collectively grow. The first meeting of the group was held on May 23 where in the basis, main aims were discussed, and the second meet was held today at Pop in restaurant and even when it was raining very heavily the members came in, which shows a wow made by them towards growth of IT in Belgaum.
The efforts have paid off. City based DotCord IT Solutions a web designing company has now tied up with eTH1 network solutions, which also is a Belgaum based web hosting company for its new site for Belgaumites. The said site will be launched in early next month and it will be a very effective site for networking with other Belgaumites. When this blog spoke to Sandeep Hegde MD of DotCord IT Solutions he said, they had the website plan long time ago and were supposed to host it else where, but with the IT group meet, they decided to host the site with eTH1 network solutions which is also based in Belgaum and both are first time entrepreneurs. He also added this site is unique combination of collective growth as the site is also for Belgaumites. It is like For Belgaum, By Belgaum and To Belgaum.
In today’s meet the website structure for the Belgaum IT group was discussed and finalized and web site should be ready by next month. DotCord IT Solutions has taken the lead to design the site. The website will contain all information on the various companies in Belgaum and will contain a forum for all the employees of the different companies to come and exchange thoughts and collaborate. In addition, a discussion was arrived on to a specific date on which the group will meet monthly.
The group also decided to take seminars and workshops at different colleges on various topics so that the next generation knows about the companies in Belgaum and students nurtured with the current requirements of the companies.
The second meeting was another step forward for the IT in Belgaum. Many would laugh at this and might say what will these people achieve in the end. However, we are all optimistic of the future and victorious when people from Belgaum have started to collaborate with each other, which show that there are opportunities, we need to cater to them.

What is UpRoot.in ?
A simple website to post classifieds online for free, it has been exclusively created for Indian users, and covers all districts in the country (600+).
Everything about the site is geared towards simplicity, including:

What is it not?
While making the site, one path we did not tread (nor intend to tread) is social networking. They will add more features in the future to facilitate collaboration between groups of users. Uproot.in is the first baby from the Uproot Labs, Belgaum. Uproot labs are a gargantuan team of two Harshad Joglekar & Dr Ameet Patil who know each other from college days. After a “long time, no see” span of 10 years, they met over Orkut, and found that they both had an urge to start a company from our hometown, Belgaum. Dr.Ameet Patil also runs his own startup Spundhan which has already been featured on this blog.
Uproot has been designed by both as they have major experience in system software, particularly embedded system software. They are trying something new; web services. They shoulder equal responsibilities. They both design, code, make decisions with equal flair.
They chose Belgaum as it has its own set of advantages & disadvantages. But the advantages are now out marking the latter with the advent of internet.
They chose to develop their own web framework; a tailor made suit that fits needs, and is optimized for performance.
They also plan to have key partnerships with other sites for the content and AllAboutBelgaum was the first one to approach them in this regard and a feed only for Belgaum is here.
So all the ads you post under Belgaum will be coming up there automatically. (Collective growth of It & ITeS services in Belgaum)

Business is in the blood:
After passing the valued Redhat Certification exam in 2006, he tried setting up a business of his own dealing with Wireless and Wired Networking for local SME's and institutions. But then he was green with very little experience of the outside world. He failed sustaining it as the demand for services was meager.
He then took a few odd jobs in Bangalore and started working as a Freelancer along with a job in the day. The Freelancing helped him technically and got loads of contacts. He came back in 2007 and started working from home office setup alone. From then on he has 4 full time and 3 freelancers working for eth1 Network Solutions.
