The online ticketing system form the website of Bigcinemas has begun again. It was stopped earlier due to some administrative glitches.
So now it’s easy to book and have a nice time, hopefully the movies should be good.

I receive a lot many mails, which are of importance in general and should be shared with all. In this regard, this is the first one.
Letter From: ~ Vineet
I being a true Hard Core Belgaumite (Staying @ Bangalore for my Work currently) have a Grievance.
Actually I had been to Big Cinemas on Sunday Night (25/1/09) @ 9.15 pm Show for (Screen 2) watching my First Movie (Raaz-2) in the Brand New and beautiful Ad-labs Multiplex. My Seat number was K-3 (Gold Class 0118). IT was all good, for the first 15 mins or so. Then entered a bunch of guys (4 to 5) loaded with Alcohol. In addition, to my agony their seats were right next to me. They came in and kept shouting rubbish until they were in the Cinema Hall. They left the Cinema Hall in between only because one of those people puked in the Cinema Hall (may be seat number K-5).
I actually got out of my seat (k-3) and sat somewhere else when these people cut loose.... I went back to my seat only after those people left.... only to discover that one of these people had puked which the big cinema Helper/Employee told me.
I strongly believe that the Big Cinema Authorities need to Make sure that they do not Issue tickets to Drunken People to stop this kind of incidents, which creates discomfort and inconvenience to other Audiences in the Hall, after all its a public place not a private theatre or Home. In addition, making the brand new seats in the Hall Dirty and unhygenic.
If you have the Contact Number (Preferably Mobile Number) of the Big Cinema Authorities of Belgaum, please do send it across. I did not wait @ the theater after the movie Ended as it was 12.15 am already. I thought I would speak to the Authorities the next day but could not as I was traveling back to Bangalore.
This is some thing, which needs to be taken care of, so that it does not happen next time and create Nonsense in the Big Cinemas.

Big cinemas online ticket booking stopped due to Local statutory permission/regulations

“I fail to understand in this day and age, where we have to embrace new technology and move ahead you people are moving backwards and forcing people to queue up in front of your theaters and go through all the inconvenience. Online booking is beneficial to you people also... you can reduce costs of having multiple ticket counters and hiring extra people to manage the queues.”
To that Mr. Mohit Dubey has replied which is strange to me and just don’t understand this. Civic authorities don’t have anything online except for online complaint booking, and if someone is using technology for the better, there are these hurdles.
“We apologize & regret the inconvenience being faced by you do to non-availability of On-line booking for Tickets/seats to Big Cinemas at Belgaum. However the mentioned service withdrawal is due to Local statutory permission/regulations, on which our dedicated team is already working, we hope to restart the On-line Ticket Booking facility for Big Cinemas Belgaum Very Soon, wherein you will have the convenience of booking the seats of your choice for your favorite movies at Big Cinemas Belgaum.”
Hope the Civic authorities understand.
Chandni Chowk to China Paid Preview first time in Belgaum at Big Cinemas

The first ever paid preview of the movie Chandni Chowk to China will be premiered today a day ahead of the official rerelease.
The first show will be on Screen 1 at 8.15pm and on Screen 2 at 9.30pm.
So you can see the movie before all see it, any takers..
Big Cinema Kapeel Belgaum: Book your ticket online

There on the Right hand side first select the number of seats, then the Cinema, here in SOUTH- Big Cinemas Kapeel, Belgaum.
Then Select the Movie from the drop down menu.
Once you know which movie then, Select the Show date. At present for Kapeel, only one day is being shown, i.e. current day bookings only.
Then Select the Show time.
Select the Class, at present all Gold, Silver and platinum are all priced same Rs.60.
Then you will be taken to a login page, you have to register to get signed in.
Sing in and you get this page.
Where you have 8 minutes to comple
te the transaction.
Where you have ticket details and payment details.
You can your seat layout if you wish so, by clicking the Take me to seat layout.
The worst part you can pay only by credit card or Easy Ticket and you have to shell out Rs.10 per seat extra as convenience charges. Online banking is not yet activated. About Easy ticket you can get more info here.
Submit pay and you get the ticket and the booking ticket id, take the print out and Enjoy Madeee!!! !
At last Big Cinemas to open today

This is just a formal opening of the mall and Big Cinemas.
Big cinemas have two screens in here named KAPEEL -1 and KAPEEL -2, after the earlier Kapeel theatre on which this whole mall is built. There is space for about 55 cars and about 250 two wheelers for parking, which is obviously paid.
The interiors are very similar to all those others in metros with anti fire mats, 4 way surround sound etc.
The mall is still not working, only big Cinemas will commence all others have to take up their space yet and mostly the ground floor is being taken up by leading foreign footwear brands and watch brands.
This first weekend for Big cinemas is going to be a great treat for all, them and as well as Belgaumites. Now we don’t have to go to Mumbai or Bangalore, ‘Apne he shaer mein hain na’.

The mall still looks completely from the outside only the Big cinema floor is illuminated in the night. There is also a pay parking available, but how much space is there has to be seen.
