Leading footwear retailer M&B Footwear has opened its exclusive outlet Walk-in-M&B at Nucleus Mall, Belgaum. The store retails a wide range of shoes such as formal, smart casual, semi and dress casual, outdoor and fashion wear.

Walk-in-M&B is a distinctively unique international footwear retail chain and is contemporary in terms of new age look and approach. They aim to fulfill the needs and aspirations of its already burgeoning target customer through a bundle of well segmented offerings. Big Cinemas hikes prices from 16 Jan

This bit of news is from reliable sources.

A big cinema, which is now charging a flat ate of Rs.60 for rickets will now charge Rs.60 for SILVER class, Rs.80 for GOLD class and Rs.100 for PLATINUM class beginning from January 16.

Also there was a query about the online booking being not there for Big Cinemas Belgaum, I followed it up with the higher authorities and here is their reply:

Dear Mr. Uday, We sincerely apologize & deeply regret the inconvenience faced by you with regards to Web Booking of Tickets for our Cinema at Belgaum, however currently we are incapacitated to extend the On-line/Web Booking, as the statutory permission is awaited. However we are working on the same, and hope to start Web Booking facility for Belgaum very soon. We value your patronage and look forward to your continuous association with us even in the future.

At last Big Cinemas to open today

The wait for so many years is over; the Big cinemas in Nucleus Mall will be opened by Mr.Prabhakar Kore MP today evening at 6.30pm. It will be open to public from this Friday with Rab ne bana de Jodi with an inaugural offer of Rs.60/ticket.

This is just a formal opening of the mall and Big Cinemas.
Big cinemas have two screens in here named KAPEEL -1 and KAPEEL -2, after the earlier Kapeel theatre on which this whole mall is built. There is space for about 55 cars and about 250 two wheelers for parking, which is obviously paid.

The interiors are very similar to all those others in metros with anti fire mats, 4 way surround sound etc.

The mall is still not working, only big Cinemas will commence all others have to take up their space yet and mostly the ground floor is being taken up by leading foreign footwear brands and watch brands.

This first weekend for Big cinemas is going to be a great treat for all, them and as well as Belgaumites. Now we don’t have to go to Mumbai or Bangalore, ‘Apne he shaer mein hain na’.

Big cinemas Belgaum to open for public on Friday 12 December

The much awaited opening of the Big Cinemas will be done tomorrow on Monday and will open to public from the Friday, 12 December with the film “Rab ne Bana di Jodi.
The mall still looks completely from the outside only the Big cinema floor is illuminated in the night. There is also a pay parking available, but how much space is there has to be seen.

Big Cinemas Belgaum launch postponed

The much-awaited launch of Big Cinemas in the Nucleus mall has been postponed with no new formal date for the launch, it was earlier planned to be opened on fifth of December.
The Management in its email has only communicated & I quote “We have postponed the launch of BIG Cinemas in Belgaum. Shall keep you posted on the same”.

Here is the latest photo of the Nucleus Mall, no much change since my last update. Still internal works and beautification is going on. Big Cinemas (Adlabs) screens seem to be ready. But still nothing is seen on the other floors.

The Ad board on the Nucleus Mall is On since today evening and is now displaying newer ads.

The said Ad board was asked to be closed after some complaints were received by the district administration.

I had posted here about the new ad board on the Nucleus Mall; you could take this a Belgaumblog EFFECT (if somebody ahs read this) that the said board is switched off for 3 days now for reasons unknown.
I have no clue why it OFF, I will try and get u more details.

The Belgaum city corporation website http://www.belgaumcity.gov.in/ has a Grievance section.
You can file an online complaint and you get a complaint number & you can check the status of the complaint online.

Mr.Gangadhar Patil, this blogs RTI editor had filed a complaint about the AD board on the Nucleus mall in Bogarves. He is supposed to get an answer by today.

The first Mall in Belgaum or should I first say Mall with a multiplex, the Nucleus Mall with Adlabs Multiplex is taking its shape and it should take another 6-8 months to start operations. This is taking shape at the place of Kapeel Theatre in Ramling Khind Galli, The picture is taken from Bogarves.
