Walk-in-M&B footwear opens at Nucleus Mall

Leading footwear retailer M&B Footwear has opened its exclusive outlet Walk-in-M&B at Nucleus Mall, Belgaum. The store retails a wide range of shoes such as formal, smart casual, semi and dress casual, outdoor and fashion wear.

Walk-in-M&B is a distinctively unique international footwear retail chain and is contemporary in terms of new age look and approach. They aim to fulfill the needs and aspirations of its already burgeoning target customer through a bundle of well segmented offerings. Walk-in-M&B retails brands including Lee Cooper, ID, Provogue, GEOX, Merrell, Firangi and M&B Sports. Currently, the company operates 45 exclusive concept stores, 38 shop-in-shop stores and 70 factory outlets across the country.

At last Big Cinemas to open today

The wait for so many years is over; the Big cinemas in Nucleus Mall will be opened by Mr.Prabhakar Kore MP today evening at 6.30pm. It will be open to public from this Friday with Rab ne bana de Jodi with an inaugural offer of Rs.60/ticket.

This is just a formal opening of the mall and Big Cinemas.
Big cinemas have two screens in here named KAPEEL -1 and KAPEEL -2, after the earlier Kapeel theatre on which this whole mall is built. There is space for about 55 cars and about 250 two wheelers for parking, which is obviously paid.

The interiors are very similar to all those others in metros with anti fire mats, 4 way surround sound etc.

The mall is still not working, only big Cinemas will commence all others have to take up their space yet and mostly the ground floor is being taken up by leading foreign footwear brands and watch brands.

This first weekend for Big cinemas is going to be a great treat for all, them and as well as Belgaumites. Now we don’t have to go to Mumbai or Bangalore, ‘Apne he shaer mein hain na’.

KLE to open college in China

Made in China, a word very familiar in any field from consumer durables to simple decoration materials, now the KLE society will make a change to this.

The Belgaum based KLE society will set up a medical college and hospital in China. Dr Prabhakar Kore, Chairman, KLE Society, said that KLE Society has signed a MoU with the Chinese government.

The Society has been planning to open a medical college at Kolhapur in Maharashtra. Kolhapur Corporation has already allotted five acres to KLE Society. KLE Society has received Rs 40 lakh donation from Dr Sheshagiri from Belgaum, Rs 8 lakh from Sudha Murthy of Infosys and Rs 10 lakh from Gururaj Deshpande.
Another feather in the crown of the society and all Belgaumites should feel proud that a society from their small town is now making it to China to start up a college and hospital.

Reliacne Fresh: one @ Khanapur Road & second @ Hotel Hanuman

Reliance Fresh will open its stores in Belgaum in two places. One at Khanapur Road, next to Kamat Hardwares, Opp.IOC office. The furniture work is in progress and we could expect the opening in a very short while.

The second will open at Hotel Hanuman, Nehru Nagar Belgaum.
